Hi! I'm Dora and I'm so glad you stopped by! Why? Because I don't want you to make the same mistake I did. I don't have any photographs of my own birth journeys. And I deeply regret that. At that time birth photography didn't exist here, in fact I was one of the first birth photographers in the Netherlands.
In the past 10 years I've documented almost 200 births and this makes me the most experienced birth photographer in the greater Amsterdam area. I'm proud to be an internationally published and award winning birth photographer and it would be a great honour to capture your story! Whether you're going to give birth at home in a birth pool or in the hospital via a c-section, you'll be thrilled that your story is well documented and you can relive the day you met your baby.

But I have good news for you! Do you live in Amstelveen? Me, too! This means I can be at your delivery in no time. And even more good news! I know almost all obstetricians and gynecologists in Amstelveen and I have an exclusive partnership with the Amstelland hospital in Amstelveen. This not only allows me to work very well with the medical team, but I am also welcome in the operating room if your birth turns into a caesarean section.
In addition, I am the only birth photographer in the area who can also film. I make real birth videos. So no boring slideshows but a real birth film with you and your baby in the leading role.
